Deacon might be to be good to be true, showing kindness, patience and compassion. A man who was willing to make Ramsey his, letting her settle the pace. Meeting her put things into perspective and I loved how upfront he was.
Ramsey is a warrior, who learnt to survive and not repeat her past experiences, being an independent woman. When she met Deacon, he literally turned her world upside down, pushing her out of her comfort zone, to make her voice known.
So much love and kindness in this story and also showing the strong bonds of friendship and family. I appreciated the upfront one and sweetness. A couple who slowly figuring out how to be together, a heroine who managed to overcome her past and a hero who wasn’t afraid to go for what he wants.
They had great chemistry and connection! Really enjoyed it!
