Nothing about being a librarian prepared Thuy Nguyen for such a wide variety of casseroles. Or life in a small town. Or becoming a farmer.

But what can she do when her catastrophe-prone best friend begs her for help? After all, Maddy has always been there for Thuy. It’s time to return the favor.

It’s simple really, all she has to do is: learn everything about farming ASAP, save her BBF’s family business from disaster, and avoid being caught staring at Maddy’s biker brother, and his muscles, and his smile, and his soulful, sexy eyes.

Oh yeah, and she should definitely not fall in love with him.

Easy, right? . . . Right.

‘Prose Before Bros’ is a full-length contemporary romantic comedy, can be read as a standalone, and is book#3 in the Green Valley Library series, Green Valley World, Penny Reid Book Universe.

I liked this opposite do attract romance. Thuy and Drill were just a disaster on paper but what if they used their own words to write their story?

Being involved with a biker was not on Thuy’s priority when she came to help her BFF Maddy.

No questions asked. She was a rock and tough as nails and she wasn’t scared by a bunch of a MC to push her away.

This little woman was a force of nature, a bit stubborn and definitely not ranch material. More like a city woman, a lover of words and librarian.

She wasn’t letting a man stand in her way to make her BFF happy. She was a fast learner and not afraid to work. That was the easiest part.

But the biker being her best friend’s big brother… Drill was like trouble with a capital T.

He was so confident and cocky, totally sure about his charming ways and affecting Thuy without really trying. Being in a MC for more than a decade, loyal to his brothers but the last events had torn their club into pieces and they had to find a way to make it work. Crossing paths with her and his sister made him change his priorities, putting in perspective his vision of the MC.

But once you got it, it’s impossible to leave them without a tragic ending.

This flirty banter, when they liked to push each others’ buttons. Attracted like moths to a flame, this intense pull and connection they felt from the first time. I liked it a lot! They didn’t beat around the bush and getting for what they wanted, to protect their loved ones. Thuy was my hero here, sorry Drill but that woman was just a badass!!

Prose Before Pros for sure, but when you can mix the two, you should definitely go for it!
