I am very keen on Hollywood romance trope but when A.L. Jackson and Rebecca Shea wrote about two best friends who have found their match, fell fast in love in Hollywood when appearances could be deceiving, was filled with so much sexiness, fun and a strong hint of swooning, I was sold!
It was quick read but nonetheless not rushed, in spite of the fast paced and wild ride these two were getting into, the length of their story was being used wisely. Sometimes I liked to be just transported into some kind of fairytale that could make me smile so hard, swooning a lot with two endearing characters, sharing an incredible chemistry.
Kassius and Elle might have met in some surprising circumstances. A night that would change their lives. What an encounter… damn Kassius was too charming for his own good and Elle felt like she had to build stronger walls. How in a city when tons of people were looking for fame, you could decipher the truth from the fake? The ones who were here to use you?
That One Wild Ride was a delightful, fun and so swoon worthy read. Mostly like a summer read that put you in a good mood. I still can feel the magic in the air… An atmosphere and one crazy charm and will seduce you for sure.
