Center of Gravity took me by surprise. I wasn’t expected to be so caught up into this whirlwind romance, following the aspirations and deceptions of a promising dancer, Lex.

An Encounter with one of her favorite dancer in the world was more than disappointing, and they kept running into each other a few times later, she didn’t realize yet that it was her time to shine on stage.

Theo was a talented and passionate choreographer, who somehow lost his soul in process of fame. In spite of living his passion and really feeling it, he was at his point on his life when everything lack of this little something that would ignite, consumed him. Until he met Lex, who seemed less fragile and naive that she would be.

Lex was trying to live her dream in a competitive field, struggling to be the dancer she wanted to be, going from one audition to another. She was strong, passionate, giving life to dance in a graceful and magnificent way. She was meant to shine and was hidden in the shadows for so long.

I thought it would have been more difficult to hold my attention but the author managed to provide such amazing scenes where the characters were expressing themselves with such passion, magnetism and definitely sensual. I really enjoyed this duality and power balance between Lex and Theo, the tension was on point, going from hot and cold in a few seconds.

As much as experienced and famous Theo would be, Lex was always keeping him on his toes and slowly bringing back the fire he lost a few times ago.

All these overwhelming feelings turned into this turmoil of emotions, the lines were blurred, a risk to lost everything they have built but turning into something more, to take a chance on love.

It was a beautiful dance romance, written with passion and sincerity.
