More of You was a highly emotional second chance romance. Faith and Jace were meant to be but between the boy who lived in the wrong side and struggling and the girl who stole his heart, choices had to be made.
From the beginning the mood was settled, straight to the guts. My heart was already broken the moment I read about these two, from memories to the present. It was definitely the kind of emotional story with a heavy atmosphere filled with intensity and tension.
Between Faith and Jace has been a time when only their love would conquer all. Almost. They might not have started as best friends, but the connection was already there.
Jace lived in a nightmare, trying to keep his brother and cousin out of problems. Having such responsibilities for a young age, living day by day, trying to find a way to pay bills and feed them.
When he met Faith, who didn’t judge him for his looks, touching him by her kindness and selfless nature. He didn’t want to fall for her but it was already too late, and being apart from each other was just impossible.
Faith might be seen like a bit naive, trying to see the best in everyone. Even the ones that she shouldn’t trust. In spite of this fragile side, she became stronger throughout the years. Bitter when it came to Jace who left her without any explanation.
That’s how the story started, a charged past, when they met again many years ago. The angsty side was on point. When you had a history like Faith and Jace, you knew that all the truths that would come out might destroy them. But when you could sense this chemistry and connection years later, it was definitely worth the fight, to finally go for what felt right.
The author provided such an incredible story, conveying emotions so beautifully. She had a way with words, giving life to characters that would definitely stole your heart.
