One Wild Night is the perfect read if you’re in the mood for something fun, sexy and a bit wild.
A story was would transport you into Hollywood, when one famous actor met his match, turning one wild night into something more. Damn if the hopeless romantic in me wasn’t thrill to read this kind magic encounter, so enchanting and entailing.
This story brought a smile to my face. Paxton and Kaylee were definitely from two different worlds. Kaylee was always cautious and not Hollywood material… far from it. A woman wearing her heart on her sleeve, with this innocence and naive part that made her so endearing. But don’t get me wrong she could fight when needed, and especially when it comes to this actor who wasn’t afraid to go after what he wanted. And Kaylee was his prey.
Paxton was the raising star, cocky, too much sexy, handsome, having so much attention from everyone from work and also women. He may have landed his dream job but one encounter with Kaylee and he realized that there was something missing or more. Finding spontaneity when he used to have everything under control, sometimes rehearsed.
I enjoyed their first encounter, charged with so much hotness, with this little hint of mystery, giving this charming and intriguing side. It made want to read it until the end. I liked to see the sparks fly, feeling this intensity in the air. Bringing hotness to the yard. More than once.
It felt so natural, and I guessed in a way in was expecting something else, with more drama and crazy things, and I loved it that way. The chemistry was working its magic, from swoony moments to the intense and passionate ones, I enjoyed reading about two people falling in love.
I believe in strong connections and the authors did a great job to make them shine, far from all the material but focusing on characters’ feelings, bringing for sure some glamour. I’ve been starry-eyed more than once. A reading without pretense filled with good vibes, with little drama to keep you interested and making you fall in love with the main characters.
