I’m Matt Hadder.
I’ve been called ruthless, savage—even brutal—by the men and women who work for me. And I’ve earned my reputation.
Wonderland Inc., a party planning organization for every major player in the world, is Oz, and I’m its Wizard. I can make anything—drugs, prostitutes, deals—appear for a night and disappear just as quickly.
This doesn’t make me good or bad—it makes me essential.
Wonderland Inc. was my life, until a beautiful contradiction of innocence and impurity, obedience and rebelliousness named Alex Little stepped in and turned both of our worlds upside down.
Welcome to Wonderland, Alex.
A place where everything appears normal.
But we’re all mad.

Max Monroe’sAlex in Wonderland dark romantic comedy was hell of a ride, something between fantasy and reality. I was intrigued by the blurb and when I got into the story, I couldn’t stop, reading until the end Alex’s journey in Wonderland. I appreciated the authors’ creativity.
Once upon a time, a woman, Alex Little, was trying to survive in the rabbit hole. A few mishaps later and here she was, meeting someone and a world that would change her life forever. As naive she seemed to be, she was definitely more than that. A mix between innocence and assurance, more feisty and bold as the story unfold.
In her despair, the man hidden in the shadows, offered his help. Matt Hadder was running quite a business, where secrecy was the rule. Until Alex Little. Breaking all his rules, challenging her. As intrigued and also trying to protect his business, invading her space became his purpose. Making her craving for more.
Even if all the signs that should warn her and told her to stay far away from here, the heroine was digging more and more into the rabbit hole. All the glitter were definitely not what it seemed to be. A veil were all things could happen, a veil to people’s madness, where anything was possible, thanks to Matt’s business.
About the romance part, you would have it for sure. A protective and domineering man, a feisty heroine with a bit of innocence but always surprising. Loads of hotness and dirty thoughts… well integrated into this offbeat story. A bit of lightness in this world of heavies.
The story was carried out briskly, sarcastic, and the authors seemed like having fun to tell us Alex and Matt’s journey. A story where nothing was black or white. A maddening world where two people have found their right color. Can’t wait to read more about the crazy crew!
