I adored Amanda and Andrew and SHOPPING FOR A CEO’S WIFE was just hilarious as usual and incredibly sweet and romantic. All things went crazy out there as they planned their wedding, between the paparazzis , following their every moves, Andrew’s father melting and trying to control everything, with some hardships they had to overcome to finally get their happily ever after.
Amanda and Andrew remained strong, united and acting like a team but what if their different lifestyle would threaten the blissfully ever after they were looking for? As the story unfold, their adventure through their craziness revealed how much they could endure, how stressful being into the spotlight and trying to get a “normal” life.
When I think about them, normality is definitely not the norm and I liked the world she created for this series. Each book never gets old. And I was so rooting for them.
All levels of insanity hit the fan.
Amanda trying to love her life without being exposed. When you date a man like Andrew you know what you’re getting but definitely not what you’re losing. I liked how blunt, natural, sweet and fun she was with always this hint of crazy. She was a badass but losing her temper, feeling that they didn’t have the control of her life anymore.
Oh my Andrew … I have a thing for men who can quote Dickinson and especially Austen. Demanding and powerful but so desperately in love with his woman. That insanity? He lived with it all his life, knowing how to control it, until a certain extent. Falling in love wasn’t planned but he couldn’t get away from her. Being with her was a breath of fresh air and she was challenging, putting him in his place when needed. And he wasn’t to let her go. Like never.
Trying to please everyone, they finally got trapped, losing control of everything. Each time, it was getting crazier, and even with all the things that would tear them apart, they remained strong, being a team and I loved it.
Colorful characters, hilarious situations and some sweet moments that made me freaking swoon. I was charmed again and I can’t wait to read the next book. Nutty scenario for sure but it worked perfectly, I couldn’t imagine another story for them.
Don’t worry, they got their HEA, definitely so Amanda and Andrew. Right in the feels!
