That’s it, this is the end and I can’t still believed it. What a journey … through six books, Cecilia London made us work for it from love to destruction and then rebirth, I was mind-blown.
I needed to process my thoughts because my emotions were all over the place.
I read the first book then the second and I knew I was for the long haul and following this incredible author. I don’t usually like reading books when you have to read the each of the books to get the full picture. Hopefully I was wrong and took a chance on this series. Every moment was worth the pain and even if it drove me insane, I had to know how their journey would end.
Triumph was changed emotionally but a little bit differed from the last ones where the angsty parts ruled most of the atmosphere. It was meaningful, like the pieces of this shattered puzzle were slowly getting back together, with some further clarification about some parts of the series. Filling the blanks.
Once again I was stunned and in awe by this couple, Caroline and Jack … le sigh.
Reading the evolution of their relationship made just love them more. After everything they went through, mostly hell, the turning events made them stronger and more real. The accumulation of whirlwind emotion was just overwhelming. I guess I became attached to them but also to some secondary characters who were essential to strengthen the story. I was living vicariously through them.
The romance part into this battle for justice was well-balanced, giving a little bit of lightness in the world of heavies, switching from the happiest moments to the hard ones. I was falling all over again in love with his passionate and intense couple, always acting like a team, accepting each other entirely, flaws and all.
They truly shine and ignite together, burning passionately, honest and challenging each other.
One thing you learned about this series was never take things for granted, to fight for justice and stand for your ideas. Your voice matters. Be brave, be fierce and be strong. No sacrifice is too great for love, that’s the thing I completely understood with the Bellator Saga.
