“I slept with Cole last night!” I blurted to Natalia as we walked through the outdoor flea market with Joey just a few feet in front of us.
“You what?” She stopped dead in her tracks, and I prepared myself for her wrath that was about to come. I didn’t know why I even told her, but confessing my sins to Natalia in my adult life took the place of confessing to the priests in my childhood.
“Joey, get back here!” I shouted just before Natalia got ready to lay into me.
“Why on earth would you do that?”
I shrugged. “I don’t know. I needed to—”
“Come on, you guys,” Joey whined, stomping back to us and tugging on my hand to move.
“I needed to eat some chocolate.” I began to talk in code, something we did often when Joey was around.
“But, Faith. There are so many other different chocolates out there. Why would you pick that one?”
Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed Creative Writing. There was always something about being able to travel to a different place or become a different person with just the stroke of a pen – or in today’s world a touch of the keyboard. I am the author of The Exception To The Rule, An Unplanned series, Drowning In Love, A Cry for Hope, A Will To Change, Blind Side of Love, Three of a Kind series, Easy Silence, A Right to Remain & Keepin’ the Faith.
My life is not as interesting as my books or the characters in them, but then again whose life is? I’m a mom of twin teenage boys, a crazy Border Collie and a cat with an identity crisis! I guess you can say writing is my form of Calgon!
Thanks for taking the time to learn about my books and me! If you decide to read them (and I hope you do!) please be sure to go on and review it for me – yes, even if you don’t like it!
Keepin’ The Faith was a sweet and hilarious romance. It was really easy to get into. Reading about a single mom believing in fairytales and the successful business man, who has no patience with kids and not wanting to be in a relationship was quite fun.
Faith is a fierce, sweet and caring woman. Single mom of a cute and so endearing little 5 yo, she was struggling between jobs and proving the best to her child.
Well, she had two interesting jobs leading to some amazing encounters and hilarious ones.
Gabe is the bachelor by excellence and married to his job. Above his jerk reputation as a boss, Faith literally knocked him over by her hard work, witty and bright personality. For a man who didn’t want to be involved with someone, Faith and her daughter were crushing his walls so easily.
The banter was great, the characters endearing and charming. I had a great time reading their journey. The storyline was good.I laughed a lot.
In spite of the lighthearted and very funny parts, I appreciated the balance with emotional ones, with this straightforward tone.
However, some parts were dragging on, the hesitation between the two, beating around the bush was just a bit long. Hopefully the author created an amazing chemistry between the main characters and provided an entertaining rom com full of sparks.
