She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

I was waiting for John Tucker’s story for so long! When I knew who was the woman that stolen his heart … Well I couldn’t wait!

A Guy who believes at Love at first sight, and a girl who was avoiding commitment like the plague?? Mismatched right?

I really enjoyed how the author wrote the dual POVs, with this witty banter, humor and also so romantic tone at time. Prepared to be swooned, because John is a keeper. Definitely book boyfriend material!

The connection between Sabrina and John?? Just amazing! Smoking hot and gentle. Sweet and Heartbreaking. And in middle a lot of unsaid things. This series is one of my fave sports romance. Each one is so different from the other and each time, I liked to read about some characters I learnt to love, to see how from one book to another, grew.

I was surprised by each characters’ background, how people perceived them. And how all of them were so wrong. The first part was very entertaining, with Tucker chasing Sabrina. Holy damn. It.was.hot!! His confidence but also his sensitive side made him so endearing. He was so laid back, very attentive and so chivalrous.

I had a crush from the first page … So well played Elle!

Sabrina was the badass, with the no-shit attitude. Working hard to leave her fucked up life. No time for complications. School, work and sometimes sex. All was working well until one night with Tucker, and she was sold. She built so many walls around her that it’s gonna take all John’s willpower and patience to make Sabrina’s his.

The chemistry was off the charts, it was fun but with this hint of drama that keep me interested. I appreciated how they worked together; but totally freaking out about their future and that one moment charged their lives for ever. John’s persistence, tenacity and smoking hot behavior made me freaking swooned so much since the beginning! This guy was a mix of cuteness, hotness and all the things that could made a woman melting like a puddle!

I really appreciated to see all the gang evolving, supporting Tucker. I wasn’t expecting this book to be heavy. The first part was really fun, the middle a little bit too expanded, hesitant, like I couldn’t see where I was leading to, but the end? So much better!

Sabrina and Tucker seemed more mature, with some heavy baggage and past. They were totally meant for each even if I didn’t picturing the two of them being a couple. I was pleasantly surprised.

I had a crush and his name is John freaking Tucker!
