Six drove me crazy … What the Hell is this book! Really!
It was a strange, very dark and twisted tale with any boundaries. I was speechless, drained and emotionally disturbed by the storyline and especially about the main character : Six, the cold hearted killer.
But like the psycho I might be, I was frantically turning the pages on my Kindle, utterly in a state of shock, amazed and I admitted almost turned on. Anyway, this book stirred so many feelings, especially the darkest ones, the ones you fear the most. Trapped into world that you were no longer master of your destiny.
Paisley’s world turned upside down, for the worse, the day she met Six. From a “boring” life to another one when she didn’t own her body, where her mind and soul were destroyed, consumed by Six. Trust me, nothing was gentle with this man. A man who showed no humanity, trained and craving to kill. A world of violence, ruled by darkness and monsters.
Instead of talking about the plot, because I might reveal some spoilers, I wanted to explain how this book really affected me, how K.I. Lynn succeeded to give me chills, feeling all of it, the dramatic descent into Hell, psychologically and physically.
In their way to discover the truth, Paisley and Six discovered themselves in a way, definitely not in a conventional way. I had to warn you, Six managed some situations in a very carnal, primitive way. Ruthless and insanely erotic moments, I was amazed by the creativity of the author. I guess I was bereft of anything more to say. Still are, though.
This story was insane at every levels. After finishing I was exhausted by this adventure. Conflicted feelings, from horror to fascination, Six is the kind of a book that will stay on my mind for a long time.
Even if the end was too brutal to me and a little bit easy to me, I freaking enjoyed it!
