Kim Carmody Bio:
Kim Carmody lives in Australia with her husband, in a sunny little part of Melbourne that she never wants to leave. Except for frequent trips to New York, she is happy to leave at least once a year for those.
She holds a Masters in Commerce Marketing and while she spent her younger years training to become a professional dancer, she somehow ended up working in the sports industry, where she met her now husband. Never a participant or spectator of sport growing up (she was too busy flitting around in a tutu), she has grown to appreciate, if not love many sports and eventually found herself writing about them too.
As an avid book lover from the moment she was introduced to The Babysitters Club as a seven year-old, Kim never expected to be able to call herself an author, but is beyond excited that she now can.
Lexington and 42nd is her first novel.

I enjoy a good sports romance and Lexington and 42nd was a pretty great one! Sexy, entertaining with a lot of mix up feelings.
When an internship involving a sexy aussie woman and a famous NFL player , you know that sparks are going to fly!
Meet Emma Lexington and Will Jensen.
One year program exchange in New York with The New York Warriors was a great opportunity she won’t miss. But when she had to work with their famous player, Will, she knew that he’s off limits and he’s got a reputation as a womanizer!
As a true charming Playboy, Will was already falling for Emma without realizing. She was so different and refreshing!
The banter was great, there were some awesome characters and I was entertained.
Emma is a strong and can handle anyone. She’s invested and nailed at her job, if a certain Will Jensen couldn’t help pursuing her and pushing all the hot buttons.
I was really surprised by Will’s character. Even if the player side was more than a facade and he was acting most the time, but being with her was natural. As the face of his team, he had a reputation to hold, but was surprisingly a simple guy, and a very endearing one.
The challenge is on and between these two … It was hot from the first encounter. For a sports romance, I have to say that I was drained by all the mixed feelings there; how to went from hot to cold in more than 5 seconds and my head was spinning!
For a first novel, it was really exciting! I really enjoyed to see the background of managing a football team, especially on the PR side. It was well written and I had a great time reading it but the mixed up feelings were a little too much and even if I like foreplay, I don’t think it was really necessary.
Anyway, Will and Emma had an incredible chemistry and it was exploited in a very good way. So who is gonna be the next player of the New York Warriors to fall in love?I can’t wait to find out!
