Some Sort Of Love cover

On the surface, I have it all—a career I adore, a loving family, the Nixon metabolism but not the Nixon ears, and a salary that supports my lavish taste in designer shoes, fine wine, and lacy lingerie…but I have no one to share it with.

Until the day I run into him—my one night stand from college with the cocky smile, let’s-get-out-of-here eyes, and dirty, dirty mouth.

Levi Brooks is six feet four inches of hot bearded fantasy. A sexy single dad with broad shoulders, strong hands, and a fantastically big…heart. (I mean, it’s massive. And generous. And it pumps so hard… um. Sorry. Lost my place.)

But he lives for his son, and he’s keeping me at a distance because he thinks I deserve someone better—a man who can give me more time, more attention, more of himself. He doesn’t believe he could ever be enough.

But he’s wrong.

He’s everything.

Some Sort Of Love is a sweet, sexy and fun reading. If you’re looking for something fun, easy going with a lot of sex, this one is for you.

Jillian had a successful career but she was lonely, her sisters were happy and found their other half, and she was the oldest and single.

Every time, people was asking about settle down, but all she needed was to find her person. Envious about her sisters’ relationships, she wanted to feel how to be loved and loving back someone.

When she met again at Nathalie’s engagement party and old friend, her “boring” life got new turn.

Sexy, sweet and dirty talker Levi … Le sigh! Did I mention that she was a single dad? And he’s got a beard! This one is a winner to me. Well, they were acquainted with each other more than ten years ago and when they met again, the flame rekindled.

Levi was struggling between being a single  father of an 8yo and his job. His son needed so much attention due to his condition and he didn’t have time for a relationship. His son comes first. He was selfless and trying to be a good dad.

I can’t deny the sparkles and their chemistry. At all, but in a way, I think the sex parts were too much, and overstepping into their relationship.

I love action but it wasn’t well balanced. Concerning Levi’s life and how dedicated he was with his boy, it was really moving.

The issue about being in a relationship with their schedules and lives was understanding by it was solved most of by sex, first it was entertaining but at the end, it was too repetitive and predictable.

Some aspects of the story were too drawn-out, or coming too late in the story, especially the relationship between Levi’s son and Jillian. I was expecting so much more.

My feeling? I wanted more romance, less sex, and more deepening. That’s it, the three sisters found their match and I was really glad again to see some characters from the other books.
