⭐️ Review : The Score (Off-Campus Book 3) by Elle Kennedy ⭐️

He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she’s going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

Book 3 of the Off-Score series, The Score is Dean’s story, connoisseur of women. His reputation as a ladies men is no longer a surprise. He loved to score in the field and with women. But what happened when this manwhore got knocked out?

A entertaining story with an awesome dynamic, a chatty and stubborn manwhore, a kinky and romantic woman. What else? This story was very interesting, with a lot of steamy scenes, humor but also a great part of emotion. Dean’s story took me by surprise, in a very good way.

Dean’s reputation is well known. He enjoyed it this way until Allie’s problems crossed his path. I loved his laid back attitude and his confidence. But once again, Elle Kennedy gave great substance in his character. He’s so much more. Behind his good looks, he’s a good friend and takes cares of the people he loves and he’s invested. When he gets something in his mind, we can say that he’s persistence is sometimes just overwhelming and crazy! His analogies about movies or books? Freaking hilarious!

Allie broke up with her long lasting boyfriend. Acting is her passion and well aware of the difficulties that comes with this job. She’s passionate and won’t settle for less. When a one night stand with Dean turned up to be more, she was in denial. The banter between the two of them was terrific! The more Dean was pushing her buttons, the more she was tempted for a do-over. I loved how strong and how she could put Dean’s at his place when needed.

For the first time, Dean is having a friendly relationship with a woman and he’s enjoying it. At least he’s trying … Allie was all he could think about, even with all the attention around him, “little Dean” (yep he got a nickname for his male part), was only at her service and no one else. Their banter and chemistry were so natural, smoking hot, kinky at times, with a lot of dirty talks. They found in each other the perfect match.

All I can say that this story surprised me and I wasn’t picturing Dean this way in my mind. There were tons of humor and witty banter, priceless scenes that gonna make you smile and laugh so hard, but also some emotional parts where the characters were baring their souls, how each other were perceived by the others, through their hopes and deceptions.

The few chapters moved me and I loved how through this moment, Allie and her friends knew how to handle this. A welcoming twist giving a great balance to the story. I am definitely rooting for this couple and the end? Terrific! Trust me, Dean and Allie are far from annoying!! High five Elle Kennedy, perfect score with this one! Next book please?
