With his secret out and uncertainty behind him, Tad finds himself in this new, incredible place. A place where, finally, he can just be himself. Which means no more over-analyzing every feeling Scott stirs inside him.
Because now Tad has the confidence to act on them instead. To be with the guy that he’s head over heels for in every imaginable way.
Without any reservations.
An internal freedom he never knew existed until Scott came and unlocked the door. Experience their story’s epilogue installment, filled with playfulness and promise, laughter and love.
And, yup, some of that hot stuff, too.
“Text me?” Tad asked. “Between clients or something?” Coming to a stop in front of his Jeep, he really didn’t want to go. All that sex had made him sleepy and now he wanted to… spoon.
“Sure.” Scott smiled. “Though I’d rather call.”
Tad rested his backside against the door. “Then call. Just make sure it’s during my—” His words dropped off as Scott caged him in, hands bracing beside his head. “During my, um, lunch break. Don’t wanna… get me fired.”
“I don’t?” Scott murmured, easing closer. “Kinda actually thinking I do.”
Fuck, Tad loved that look in his eyes. All feisty and possessive and… yeah. Grinning, he leaned back and shook his head. “No way. Just started my awesome new internship.”
“Intern for me. I’ll show you awesome.”
Tad laughed. “Doing what? Stocking towels?”
“How ‘bout personal assistant.”
“Ah. So back to being gofer. Not exactly sweetening the pot.”
Scott smiled and closed the gap between them. “That’s ‘cause you haven’t heard the perks.”
Tad hmm’d as soft lips settled over his and started to move like sex. The lazy kind, though— not the frenzied stuff—that people had after the storm. Because even in the afterglow, atop tangled sheets, they still needed more. Of each other.
“Screw it,” he decided. “I’m in. Why not. Who needs a stupid career.”
Scott chuckled against his lips. “So overrated.”
“Lamest frickin’ concept ever.” All joking aside, though, it was getting late. And Tad really needed to—
“Stay,” Scott murmured. “Crash here. Don’t go.”

Born and raised in the Northern Virginia, I’ve always loved to read, but it wasn’t until my preteen years that I discovered my deep-seated love for writing. Though, with published literary teachers and play writers in the family tree, that really shouldn’t have come as a surprise.
Starting with my involvement in social book forums, I then tried my hand in literary role playing. Which, in turn, led to my becoming a fervent online independent writer. Since then, I’ve endeavored to share with the world my impassioned stories of love, adventure and sensual wonderment, my most recent delight being that of m/m erotica.
Now that Afterglow is complete, I will be continuing on with a handful of other projects, including the novel-length story spin-offs to the Up-Ending Tad series for Max & Sean and Breck & Kai, on target to be released as early as next year.
