They call him Masque.
I call him God.
The man I want to consume me, own me, break me and corrupt me.
Yet I’ve never seen his face.
His body ripples like an adonis, sculpted in steel and dripping in sin. His flesh is inked with the mark of the chimera – one body, two very different halves.
He plays hard.
He plays rough.
He has no limits.
He’s so fucking dirty bad wrong.
But I love him for it.
Lydia Marsh is always the strong one. The girl who never breaks, and sure as hell never cries. She’s got it all – the perfect little life in cosy suburbia, with her perfectly nice boyfriend, and their perfectly sufficient sex life. She’s even got her perfect little career plan all wrapped up at Trial Run Software Group.
But when it all falls apart, and Lydia’s pretty, green eyes are fixed on a brutally sexual stranger – the man they call Masque – she comes to suspect that being strong isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
For now Lydia wants something she’s never wanted before…
And she wants Masque to give it to her.

Dirty Bad Wrong was a very promising first novel, and Jade West didn’t tell this story in an easy way, just the first words put you into the mood!
Well, dirty, uncensored, definitely graphic and hardcore! And I’m not joking! Seriously filthy and dirty!
Lydia Marsh discovered that her boyfriend was cheating on her. Quiet life, with a job that she loved, she was devastated when they broke up.
In her despair, she met James “Masque” uptight man outside and a beast inside.
Began a journey where both of them discovered more about themselves, through the initiation of Lydia to BDSM. And HOLY S**T and HOLY guacamole, the author wrote it in such a way that I had to read several times a lot of scenes; because wow, even if they were well described, where there were no place for imagination (for those parts), it was for me at the time disturbing but I was also feeling all the pleasure about how Lydia was drawn into this world.
When I read about the female character first, I thought that she was going to be destroyed mentally and physically, but she was a great surprise, totally challenging the Alpha make hero/beast/I love to make women suffer, arousing by the ones who cried during the scenes. Lydia is a badass, wonderful person who is always taking care of the people she loves. And damn James had for his money! She was his perfect match!
And hell, I think you need to have balls to go in it when you have no idea what you’re going into!
It’s not usual to read a book by an author who declares in her profile that she’s a real life submissive, so she definitely knew the subject. I am not familiar at all with erotica- BDSM romance, and her history was totally a wonderful surprise!
Between Lydia discovery pleasure into BDSM as a sub and James’ issues with trust, and his avoidance of relationships, just taking pleasure through pain, the journey wasn’t easy.
James was honest with her and wasn’t trying to hide who he really was.
And when she was the one to propose this arrangement with no strings attached, the feelings overstepped the sex, craving and caring for each other more than they should be. There weren’t a lot of romance in this book as you might guess, because the sex parts totally have a huge place. The way we were introduced to BDSM could be more than straightforward but I think the author did a good job,I really appreciated it.
This book really pushed my limits; I had to read some scenes twice because I was thinking ” Did she really write that?”, it was completely insane!
But I won’t judge this choice even if the part when Lydia was trained to step up to “Masque” level was a little bit choking to me.
I liked this book, and I think people won’t be indifferent to it.
Am I scared about James, even with his sexiness, kinky side, handsomeness? Oh yeah, a little but he made a great pair with Lydia and these two are perfect for each other! How many times I blinked or re-reading parts of this book? I lost count!
I wish that the end was a bit longer, it was just a little rushed to me!
The author did a good job in her way to introduce BDSM. If you wanted to get a reaction from your readers, you nailed it!
Be sure, I’m gonna read the next one!
