Rick “Ricochet” Brennan served eight years as an elite Marine special ops Force Recon soldier. After an injury, and the terrible memories from that night, he retires and goes to work for his former Command Officer, Howard “Mack” McEvoy, at his training center in Atlanta.

Sanctum MMA appears on the surface to be a normal gym, training elite fighters to be the best. Except each trainer, hand-picked by Mack, possesses a special background that allows Mack to run one of the best-kept secrets in the country.

When twenty-four year old Quinn Wallace finally escapes her abusive husband, she turns to her father’s old Marine Corps buddy, Mack, for help. Broken and skittish, Quinn finds herself surrounded by large, intimidating men— men who could easily overpower her. She avoids them the best she can, but when Rick turns out to be more than just a rough fighter with bruised knuckles, she finds herself wondering if she can allow herself to trust again.

Ricochet is a full-length novel to be released as three parts.

***This book contains hot sweaty men, sexy scenes for those over 18, and uncomfortable, sometimes violent scenes.***

After growing up in New England, I currently live just outside Atlanta, GA.

I love the Red Sox and hate the Yankees.

I love hot, sexy romance novels, but hate long, drawn out misunderstandings as a plot line.

I love book series, but hate cliffhangers.

I love alpha males, but hate when they borderline on abusive.

Mostly? I love love love chocolate.

Part One of the Ricochet series.

First chapter , and the author goes straight to the point, with a beginning such as traumatizing and heartbreaking.
Quinn is a woman running for her a abusing husband. She went at her father’s friend and worked at his training gym, as a secretary.
Escaping a world of violence, she’s finding herself surrounded by strong alpha guys, and one especially, make her heart race; Rick « Ricochet ».

“He was striking – tall, dark, and handsome – with a hint of danger surrounding him.”

Former Elite Marine special ops, retired after a very bad injury is tormented by the memories from that night.
MMA fighter the day and mercenary at night for special undercover ops, this tough guy wasn’t the boyfriend material at all. Sex was an escape from his nightmares, just a moment of release.

When this alpha male, met Quinn, from that moment his world was upside down. He was affected by her, and attracted to this woman full of contradictions. Sometimes she was smiling, and laughing, and the next time, closed up. All of that was confusing for him, because he didn’t want to scare her, to push her away. He guessed that she had some traumatized past.

” He wasn’t sure how to define it, she was just…different. There was a delicateness about her, like a fragile porcelain doll, nedding to be wrapped up in hid arms and protected from the elements and dangers of the world;”

Quinn was totally attracted to this gorgeous and over protective man. She wanted a fresh start, away from men, but with that guy who’s caring for her and she had power over him; could make him speechless. Rick woke up in her the feisty, happy girl she used to be before her husband.
All the sexual tension and desire was so palpable that when Quinn decided to move on and date other guys, Rick lost it, and damn that scene was hot!

After all this sexual tension, a sense of future “relationship”, BAM, CLIFFHANGER!!!
