Review : Addy And The Smart Guy (Big Girl Panties #3) by Carter Ashby

If it weren’t for her best friends, Zoey and Maya, Addy Hart would be a prudish, uptight Barbie doll. Thankfully, through love and persistence, they’ve helped introduce her to her wild side. Unfortunately, even her wild side doesn’t have the courage to go after the one thing she wants more than life itself.

Dr. Greyson McDaniel has resisted his lovely teaching assistant for three years, now. He has no intentions of endangering his job or her reputation. But as spring break approaches, he’s seized with a wicked impulse. He invites her to his mountain retreat for a week. Just one week of intense escape.

What they both discover after their affair is that a week isn’t nearly enough. But as much as they long to be together, there are obstacles in their way, and the ethics of student-teacher relationships are the least of their problems. When she realizes how deeply rooted Grey’s commitment issues are, Addy begins to despair of ever having a happy ending with him. But Addy’s love might be just what’s needed to free him of his past.

Third book of the Big Girl Panties, and this one is about Addy Hart, the shy prudish girl, teaching assistant and Dr. Greyson McDaniel.

If you read the others books, those two were very attracted to each other, but with their positions, didn’t to anything.
After three years of resistance, Greyson decided to make a decision that would put their careers at risk : one week of escape.
But with a girl with Addy falling for him and Greyson thinking that he would ever love someone, it was kind of messed up.
Thoughout their week; they both realized that they were more alike that they thought.
Both having a very protective and rigid childhood, they missed a lot. They catch up and went to do things that they would love to do when they were younger.
They shared their connection and maybe this week was more that it seemed at first.
Addy felt reluntant to be with him, because she knew that after this week, they had to go back as their relationship professor -teaching assistant.
Greyson was definitely more attracted to her but fought this attraction because he couldn’t fall in love. As his parents for an example of a couple, he didn’t believe that people could be married and happy.

Well, with Greyson playing hot and cold and Addy trying to move on after this week, they couldn’t get away from each other. It seemed that the odds weren’t on their favor, because even if they were great together, they didn’t know each other very well. Some of their attempt to be together, lead them to some unexpected situations, with Greyson at the hospital.
While she was falling hard with him, Greyson continued to have a sense of his old life. When she tired to move on, Greyson was jealous and acted all caveman on her.
Some accidents to the hospital later and Greyson coming to his senses their had their HEA.

It was a sweet and enjoyable romance.
