My name is Ally Prince and I’ve always been unlucky in love. I don’t know why, I just always… have.
When all of my best friends were falling for their soul mates in College, I was left behind. I was Ally, the pretty cousin of superstar quarterback, Romeo Prince. I was Ally, the best friend to the most amazing group of girls I’ve ever known—a title I loved, but one I became tired of ‘just’ being. And I was Ally, the one on which they could all rely.
But to me, I was Ally, the girl with the heart no one had claimed… And I was, Ally, the girl, who underneath it all, was heart-breakingly lonely.
I LOVE love; the thought of it, the nervous excitement of falling for Mr. Right, the desire of someone becoming my entire world… of me becoming theirs. I’ve always wanted passion, heart-stopping, epic, life-changing romance… I’ve always wanted the fairytale… I’ve always wanted it all.
It just never seemed like I would get it.
For the past few years I’ve thrown myself into my career as a museum curator. I’m the best of the best, the person every museum wants to hire, so when an opportunity came up to move to Seattle, I jumped at the chance. My cousin and my best friend lived in Seattle and I needed a change.
I needed a new beginning.
I wasn’t expecting to meet anyone in the Emerald City. I wasn’t expecting to work closely with the reclusive new sculptor my all-important gallery design was centered around. And I certainly wasn’t expecting to fall for him… heart-stopping, epic, life-changing love…
My real life fairytale come true.
But, like in every fairytale, there’s a villain, a dark and tortured soul… I just didn’t know that the villain and the hero in my story would end up being one and the same.
New Adult Romance Novel—contains adult content, sexual situations and mature topics. Suited for ages 18 and up.

How can I explain in a few words how much this story moved me?
In this series, Tillie Cole succeeded to increase the level of emotions from the first book to the last one. This one was highly intense.
I couldn’t put it down, I was so hooked and consumed by the story of Ally and Elpidio.
This story was just magnificent, emotional, dark, poetic and beautifully written.
Two lost souls gathered by the love of Art, Ally and Elpidio, met and in one sight, they were pulled together. Intense and intriguing moment for both of them, they were both hit hard and overwhelmed by this moment.
Ally was deeply moved by Elpidio work, as a very talented sculptor, he could make her feel, showing how much his pain, sorrow, regrets.
Art was a huge part of her life and she was nominated to be his curator.
She was passionate about it and being that way for someone she never saw was very interesting, because it was she could read into his soul , like no one else.
« His work, it’s… it’s…It’s my soul. That’s the only way I can explain it. It’s life, death, love, tragedy and everything in between, every human condition…everything. His works speaks directly to my heart. »
Elpidio was a reclusive and very talented sculptor, with a darkness and a passion reflected in his work, pieces of his heart and soul, all the feelings he couldn’t show to the ones he loved. This man was the perfect tortured artist and totally intriguing. But when he met Ally, he was knocked down by her natural beauty, her bright soul and her passion for art.
« She was light. A blazing golden light. When you’re locked in perpetual darkness, you’ll do anything to fucking chase that light. »
Elpidio wanted to stay away from her, but each time he tried, she was the one to take a step forward, leaving him to let her in his life. The more they spent time together, the more their feelings were growing to an incredible love. What a rush of emotions through their story.
It was gun-wrenching, passionate, incredibly romantic. Ally wanted to find true love, the one that have her friends, to be like someone else’s world. She was very unlucky when it comes to that part and she felt lonely. Elpidio didn’t want to be love because he didn’t deserved it.
He wasn’t prepared to find someone who could understand him, giving him hope again.
She was her savior and light through his life. Knowing that their relationship couldn’t be approved by her relatives, he wanted to believe that what they had were real, that they could be strong together. But he had a secret and when she discovered it, she was startled and crushed at the same time. How could the artist and the bad guy that everyone was avoiding could be the same person? But they fought for what they had, even if she had to recover from it.
She stood by his side no matter what. Nobody ever did that for him.
The storyline was powerful, with main characters with both strong and troubled personalities.
Art was the expression of Elpidio’s open wounds, and the way his sculptures were described reached me. I won’t reveal the real name of Ally mystery’s man because I would spoil the effect of surprise.
I highly recommend this book for the beautiful, poetic story. It was dark, poignant, strongly emotional. I couldn’t put this book down!
Get ready to met a tortured artist, a woman with her unconditionally love, and to be drawn to a whirlwind romance!
The goodbyes to these wonderful characters were touching, full of love and hope and I’m already missing Molly, Rome, Austin, Lexi, Levi, Ally and Elpidio. Perfect ending to a great series!
