It’s Not Easy Being Right…
Vanessa Campbell is a CPA by day and a perfectionist by night. She’s fit, successful…and decidedly lonely. She can’t stop thinking about the youngest McCauley brother, Cameron. He’s just like her: smart, attractive, and usually right—except when dealing with her.
…But Someone’s Got To Do It.
Cameron McCauley likes Vanessa a little too well. She’s a blond goddess with a razor-sharp tongue. She hates to be wrong, just like him. But she can hold a grudge and is stubborn to a fault—also like him.
A past misunderstanding has them rubbing each other the wrong way. Cam is dying to shake Vanessa up—get her to let loose. But if he succeeds, can his heart handle it?
My review :
Ruining M. Perfect is the third book of the McCauley brothers series.
This one is the story of Cam and Vanessa.
Cam is the youngest of the family and Vanessa is Maddie’s cousin. They shared both the same aspirations, ambitions and worked in the same branch,Cam is running is own successful business. They both rock at their work.
The two of them, kept their “relationship” private and didn’t want all the family get involved. You couldn’t have two characters who were totally opposite emotionally.
Vanessa didn’t to relationships, or involved intimacy; she didn’t know how to do it. She had a very cold interactions with her family, no feelings, success is all that matters.Having two parents with a IQ more than average people make her cold, sharp, very straighforward with people. She doesn’t spend her time babbeling!
Cam is the sensitive one of the McCauley’s family and very close to his mother. His brothers always teased him and saw that he is very attracted to Vanessa. He tried to play it cool but he ended “stalking” her at her gym club to see her.
They started to have a physical relationship but Cam wouldn’t scare her and give her time to come to him. And all that i can say that the two of them have a mind blowing chemistry!
But with Vanessa’s lacking of showing her feelings and all the McCauley’s family issues mixed up lead to some situations not very well handed by both of them. When a McCauley falls in love, he falls hard, and hopefully, his family was here to get her back, besides all his pride. He went straight to the point. They both learnt from their mistakes! Cam had such a way with words. * SWOON*
I love the McCauley family! They are so welcoming, entertaining, endearing characters.Vanessa and Cam were so amazing together; the romance was sexy, funny and seeing a man so much sensitive is not very usual and i had a good time reading their story!
